| Message | If you're doing it engine-in, don't screw with trying to wrestle it in, or bending/enlarging the hole in the firewall.   There is a bracket in under the dash that is held down by 2 nuts.This bracket is what gets in the way - REMOVE IT.
    Many here have de-pinned their harness connector through the years, or bent the opening, but you can simply dremel the metal bracket and be done with it.     Sitting in the engine bay this weekend, I didn't realize that, and I bent/enlarged the opening.Since then, I've seen pics of the dremel'ed bracket and I would definitely have opted for that.
